Well, I fell off the wagon after two days.
In my defense, I slept in unintentionally on day three and didn’t have my morning free time. And today I wasn’t feeling well. But that’s okay. They say it takes two weeks before something becomes a habit. My plan to avoid aimless scrolling is only temporarily derailed.
The core of my push to purposefully engage with creative pursuits (including blogging) is to forgive the lapses. I’ve found that a lot of my frustrations happen because I’m overly critical of my failures, which really does nothing constructive.
Once it becomes a habit, I’m hoping to be able to act with more purpose.
So, here’s to starting over again.
