A number of years ago I started this blog and bought the domain meanwhileinthefuture.com. Sadly, I was unable to meaningfully get started with it, and eventually let the domain go.
Some time later, I thought about blogging (again) and found that the domain had been bought by some chap who seemed to be using it for sci-fi content. I didn’t pay a lot of attention, just briefly mourned the loss and forgot about it (again).
Last year, I decided to buckle down and really start blogging (again). I nuked the little bit of content that was already here and started from scratch. Since I couldn’t think of a snappy new domain name, I just went with my original using the wordpress.com default address.
Yesterday, on a whim, I logged into my domain tracker and saw it had been deleted several months ago and was now available! I just bought the domain today, so I’m now the proud owner of meanwhileinthefuture.com for at least 1 year!
Sorry to the other fellow if it didn’t work out but I’ll take my own stab at it again, if you don’t mind.
